The winners were selected from a pool of 31 candidates submitted to LADWP`s supply chain services by contract administrators and prime contractors. A selection committee composed of managers from LADWP Water and Power Systems and Supply Chain Services. The evaluation criteria taken into account included the size of the contract, the execution of the contract, the preparation of the application, the actual general participation of subcontractors (for prime contractors) and the certification status for SBE and Disabled Veteran Business commercial enterprises. This is the first year that LADWP has awarded these awards, every two years.
